Caol Ila 13 Year Old - Discovery (Gordon & MacPhail) sweet sherry From citrus fruit cultivated byThe spirit of this single malt Scotch whisky was sourced from Caol Ila Distillery before Gordon and MacPhail matured it in its own casks for its new introductory range, Discovery. It was aged for a total of 13 years before being bottled at 43% ABV. Nose: Sweet vanilla, fleshy apple and apricot lead among dry cured meat and peat smoke. Palate: White fruit, sponge cake, lemon, oatcakes and smoked cheese. Finish: Long, sweet and smoky.
